Anna Smrckova, the Business Development and Client Manger at ACT Construction (UK) Ltd is thrilled to have won joint first place in a photographic competition.

Her photo of her dog Archie on the summit of the Scottish mountain, Beinn Ime, impressed the judges.

The photo contest was was run in association with this summer’s University of Glasgow Munro challenge. Anna also took part in the charity Munro bagging challenge with her friend Emma and snapped the photo while walking both Beinn Ime and Beinn Narnain in the Arrochar Alps.

Anna’s prize was Champagne afternoon tea at Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens in Glasgow, which she enjoyed with Emma this weekend.

Anna incited Munro bagging friend Emma to enjoy her prize.

She said: “I was really delighted to find out that my photo of Archie on the summit of the Munro, Beinn Ime, was considered good enough to win joint first place. The afternoon tea was delicious and it was great to be able to treat Emma to the special afternoon at Hotel du Vin.”
